The South Korean electronics brand LG is gearing up to launch a new smartphone called LG Velvet to create a new chapter in its mobile portfolio, and the company will announce the device tomorrow. However, ahead of the official announcement, the company revealed the pricing and availability details of its upcoming smartphone. Pricing and availability of LG Velvet
LG has officially announced the pricing of the upcoming LG Velvet and the smartphone will be priced at KRW 899,800, and the company has also announced that the device will available in the market of South Korea from May 15. Having said that, the pre-order will start from May 8 till May 14. LG will also provide free gifts to the users who will pre-book the smartphone and the company already joined its hand with three telecom operators in South Korea to offer discounted plans.
The smartphone will have a curved edges and the upcoming LG Velvet will feature is 6.8 inch full HD+ OLED display along with a waterdrop-like notch and it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor which will also support 5G connectivity, the device will have 8GB of RAM along with 128 GB internal storage and that can be expandable upto 2TB via microSD card.
The LG Velvet also features a triple rear camera setup and that will be in the combination of a 48 megapixel sensor followed by an 8 megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 5 megapixel depth sensor, the device also features 16 megapixel front facing camera. The complete package will pack on a 4,300 mAh battery and that can also be charged via wirelessly. It also reveals that the smartphone will support ASMR video recording and gimbal-like video stabilization.
Furthermore, it also says that the smartphone will support IP68 water and dust resistance along with the military-grade standards which are common stuff on the LG phones, the smartphone also features AI-powered stereo loudspeakers.
