Back in last week, the Chinese brand unveiled its most affordable Android smartphone – Redmi 7A but it didn’t reveal the pricing and availability details of the device. But today at the launch event of the Redmi K-Series, the company announced the pricing and availability details of the device. However, there is no information about the availability and pricing details of the device in the market of India.
Pricing and availability
The 16GB internal storage variant of the device is priced at CNY 549 and 32GB internal storage variant of the device will have the price tag of CNY 599. The device is available for pre-bookings in China, the first sale will take place on June 6.
Specifications of Redmi 7A
The smartphone sports 5.45-inch HD+ display with 1440 X 720 pixels resolution along with an 18:9 aspect ratio, the screen of the device is also slightly curved to the sides which will give a compact feeling. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and paired with 2GB and 3GB of RAM, along with Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of storage, the device comes with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage and that can be expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Redmi 7A rocks a 13MP primary sensor with PDAF and LED flash along with a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone comes with P2i nano-coating, which means you can take the device in the rainy season, and the device supports face unlock.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro USB. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10, and it is backed on 4,000 mAh battery with the standard 10W.
