The popular mobile chipset maker Qualcomm has officially announced a new date for its upcoming event and the same is happening this week. The company did not reveal the name of the upcoming announcement but it is expected to be the Snapdragon 8s Elite / Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It is officially announced that the chipset maker will be hosting a new event on April 2. The company is expected to launch the new Snapdragon 8s Elite / Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile processor during the upcoming event.
The upcoming mobile processor is expected to be built using TSMC’s 4nm process and the chipset will feature an all-big-core CPU architecture. It will also come with one Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.21GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.01GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.80GHz, and another two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.02GHz. The processor will also feature the Adreno 825 GPU for the graphical task. It will also come with 6MB of system-level cache (SLC) and 8MB of L3 cache to enhance efficiency.
It is believed that the upcoming processor will power multiple devices and the list includes the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro, Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, and Oppo K13 Pro.
