Earlier this year, Qualcomm & Iridium Communications announced their partnership to bring satellite communication service to Smartphones and now the companies have officially confirmed that the partnership has ended.
It is said that the decision was taken because smartphone manufacturers failed to include the technology in their devices. It is worth mentioning that both companies successfully developed and demonstrated the technology.
That was a piece of disappointing news from the world of technology but it’s okay, we believe that Qualcomm will bring a new partner to offer the satellite communication service on Android devices.
