Chipset Giants have recently announced to provide dedicated chipset for Android Go edition which is the lighter version of Google’s regular OS.
Qualcomm and MediaTek will provide dedicated and more optimized chipset for a lighter version of the Android OS. These lighter version of OS will be launched for low Memory devices which is capable of performing basic functions and runs of less storage and RAM.
These smartphones are said to have 1GB or less than 1GB RAM and Qualcomm is working with some dedicated chipsets to give clean usage of these memory spaces.Already several plans have been on a process, as Google is working on Android Oreo Go edition.
So apart from Qualcomm, MediaTek is also working on giving dedicated chipset for these lighter version OS. The MT6739, MT 6737, and MT6580 processors will support these Lighter Go edition.Google is very conscious to provide Android Go OS which is dedicated to smartphones with equal to or less than 1GB of RAM. Optimization of the OS matters here as 512 MB RAM is useless for a Modern Android OS like Android N or Android O.
How many you welcome this initiative by Google and support by chipset giants to the lighter version of Android which allows each and every Android users around the Globe to get clean and smooth user experience.
