The Mountain View company Google recently introduced an updated version of Quick Share on its Pixel devices and the capability worked with Apple‘s AirDrop. This particular move of Google helped Pixel and iPhone users to share files easily and quickly but this particular feature is currently exclusive only for the Google Pixel 10 series.
Now Google has officially announced that the new capability will be available on all Android phones very soon. We don’t have any exact timeline for the availability of the new feature but we expect that it will be available very soon.
It is worth mentioning that many popular Android smartphone brands including Oppo and Xiaomi have already introduced a workaround of their own as the latest ColorOS and HyperOS offer cross-platform AirDrop-like connectivity.
So let’s wait for the availability of the new connectivity capability on all the devices and share your thoughts about the same in the comments section below.
