Realme 3 Review: In The Box
When we unbox the packet, we will get the phone of course along with the charger, micro USB cable, sim ejector tool, a transparent case, and the user manual guide. The company has arranged everything properly in the box and we can take things out very easily and without any hassles.
Realme 3 Review: Design, and Build
Realme believes to be young and the company makes its devices with the trendy style and amazing design, and the same application has been applied on the Realme 3 as well. The device has a unibody design and it is very much comfortable to hold in the hands, the device has the glossy plastic back and feels like a premium Smartphone. The company used gradient design and that will make you love with the device. Having said that, the device also comes with all the elements of a regular user would love to have like it accommodates the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device has the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and the company places the power button at the left side and the volume rockers at the right-hand side of the device.
Realme 3 Review: Display
The smartphone features a 6.3 inch HD+ display along with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and it also sports a small notch on the top of the display that accommodates the front camera. The display is good and bright, it will allow you to easily view even under the sunlight. Furthermore, the colours are also punchy and you will not complain about the given price.
Realme 3 Review: Performance and Software
The smartphone is powered by 2.1 GHz 12 nm MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with Mali-G72 MP3, and paired 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device will be available in two storage variants – 3 GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage, it also comes with a dedicated slot for the MicroSD card and that will allow you to expand the storage upto 256 GB. Having said that, I tested the 3GB RAM variant of the device and it impressed with the stable performance and lag-free experience.
I used the device for a couple of hours and it gave a steady performance, didn’t found any kind of issues while playing some popular and heavy games. The device updated to the latest color OS 6.0 and that does not offer any bad experiences and the best thing you guys can able to uninstall the bundled application which means you will get more space for your personal data and applications.
Talking about the launcher, it gives various options like a home screen layout, navigation gestures, and some other customizability options. the launcher is also pretty simple and clean, I did not find any kind of issues while using the device. Moreover, the device also comes with a dedicated feature for the game lovers and that is called Game space, it optimizes games by enabling the do not disturb mode, brightness lock, and this will allow you to get the maximum fun.
The software also comes with some small but very handy features like real-time network speed, battery percentage, data saver, Ride Mode, and many more. At the same time, I feel the company needs to improve a few areas like the notification drawer feels very heavy, and the animation is not upto the mark. The company also need to improve the fluidity, I believe that the company will improve all these things with future updates.
Realme 3 Review: Camera
Realme 3 rocks a dual camera set up at the rear side and that’s in the combination of 13 MP (f/1.8)+ 2 MP (f/2.4) with Bokeh effect, multi-frame noise reduction, and hybrid HDR, and AI Scene Recognition, along with a 13 MP front facing camera with f/2.0 larger aperture. It also comes with features like Portrait mode, Panorama, and Nightscape mode. The beauty mode nicely does the needful for selfies, while the Chroma Boost mode enhances photos. Overall, the camera of the device is pretty good but it will not give you the complete satisfaction while you capture images in the night. You can have a look at some camera samples below.
Realme 3 Review: Battery
It is backed on 4,230 mAh battery, and it does not come with any fast charging technology which is very sad to know, but the battery performance is decent and we did not find any fuel leakage and it gave it’s service for the entire day.
Realme 3 Review: Verdict
Well, the Realme 3 will give you style performance, a good camera, along with great gaming experience, but it will not satisfy if you are used with the stock Android. However, if you are a person who looking for a budget-oriented smartphone then the Realme 3 will be your perfect companion and you will never complain after purchasing the device.
