Realme will be launching the latest Realme Neo 8 smartphone in the markets of China on January 22 and today the company has revealed a new capability of the device which is related to the gaming department. So let’s get into the article to check out the new information about the phone.
The upcoming Realme Neo 8 is confirmed to support PC handheld gaming mode and the company says that it will enable you to sign in to your Steam account. This will enable you to access legally purchased PC games with shared progress and cloud saves. It is also confirmed that over 50 popular PC titles have already been verified to run on the upcoming smartphone including various large-scale AAA games.
After downloading the game, you guys can play the game even without an active internet connection and when the device reconnects to the internet, cloud saves sync automatically, ensuring continuity across devices. The PC handheld mode feature of the device supports external controllers for a more console-like feel, while touch controls will also be available.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Realme Neo 8 smartphone will be coming with a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The device is also expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile processor along with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The device is also expected to come with a large 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Speaking about the camera department, the upcoming Realme Neo 8 is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front camera, while the rear setup could include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The device is also expected to feature IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, crystal armor glass, stereo speakers, and an X-axis linear motor. The device will be running on the latest Android 16 operating system and it will be available in Origin White, Mecha Grey, and Cyber Purple colour options.
