Realme X2 Unveiled With Quad Rear Cameras And Snapdragon 730G

After many teasers, today Realme has unveiled its latest Realme X2 smartphone in the market of China and the new device is not the successor of the Realme X but it is a new variant of the newly announced Realme XT. Having said that, this is the smartphone which the company announced as Realme XT 730G and the company already confirmed to launch in India in December. Specifications of Realme X2

The smartphone sports a 6.4 inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution along with a waterdrop like notch on the top of the display, the device also offers a 91.9 percent screen ratio and the protection of Gorilla Glass 5. The device is powered by Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and the device is paired with 6GB, and 8GB of RAM, along with Adreno 616 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device comes with 64GB and 128 GB of internal storage, the device also allows to expand the storage via MicroSD card.

Moving to the camera department, the new Realme X2 rocks quad rear camera setup and that’s in the combination of a 64 MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with 0.8μm pixel size and f/1.8 aperture + 8 MP 119 degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size + 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size + 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size. There’s also a 32 MP sensor for the front camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI Beautification. For the security, the company has implemented the in-display fingerprint scanner for the maximum layer of the security.

Speaking about the software department, the device runs on Android 9 out-of-the-box with customized ColorOS 6. It also features the HyperBoost 2.0 for the enhancement in the performance of the smartphone. Furthermore, it also features the Digital Wellbeing and that’s to reduce the usage of the device.

Regarding the connectivity options, the Realme X2 supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Finally, the smartphone ships on the 4,000 mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support.

Pricing and availability

The 6GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 1,599 while the high-end variant will have the price tag of CNY 1,899, and the device is available for pre-order on the official website of the company in China.
