As promised, Redmi has launched its new smartphones called Redmi 10X series and that includes 4G as well as 5G versions of the devices. The company has announced Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro and the 10X is actually the rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 and the other two versions are coming with 5G connectivity and powered by MediaTek processor. Redmi 10X 4G
It is powered by Mediatek Helio G85 and Mali-G52 GPU and its display is a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution along with punch-hole cut out and houses a 13-megapixel selfie camera. In the back, we have a 48-megapixel primary camera, which is the same GM1 sensor from Samsung used in the Redmi Note 9. The other three rear cameras are the same across the Redmi Note 9 Series with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth sensing and macro mode.
The battery capacity is the same 5,020 mAh, and the 18 Watt charger is present here too. The RAM configurations are either 3 or 4GB and the storage is fixed at 64 GB or 128 GB capacity. The phone ships with MIUI 11 on top of Android 10. The extra features include an IR blaster, NFC, a fingerprint scanner at the back, and a 3.5mm headphone.
Redmi 10X 5G
The smartphone features a 6.57-inch full-HD+ Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and the same sports waterdrop-like notch and supports HDR10 as well as 600nits brightness. It is powered by the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor and coupled with 6/8GB RAM along with Mali-G57 MC5 GPU. In terms of storage, the device comes with 64/128/256 GB of internal storage.
Moving to the camera department, the Redmi 10X 5G rocks a triple camera setup at the back and that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. Upfront, the phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Redmi 10X Pro 5G
The camera department makes the difference between the Pro variant and the non-Pro variant as the Pro variant comes with Quad rear camera set up and that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary camera followed by an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter that supports 3X optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom, and 30x digital zoom, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. Upfront, the phone has a 20-megapixel camera. The smartphone is also coming with 33W fast charging technology.
Pricing and availability
The Redmi 10X 5G is priced in China at CNY 1,599 for the 6GB + 64GB variant while the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at CNY 1,799, the 8GB + 128GB variant costs CNY 2,099, and the 8GB + 256GB variant carries a price tag of CNY 2,399. The device will go on sale in the market of China from June 1.
On the other hand, the Redmi 10X Pro 5G is priced at CNY 2,399 for the 6GB + 256GB and the 8GB + 256GB storage option costs CNY 2,599, it will available in the market of China from June 5.
Finally, the Redmi 10X 4G variant is priced at CNY 999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and the 6GB + 128GB variant costs CNY 1,199 and the same is already on sale in China.
