Last week, the Chinese brand Xiaomi launched two new devices in India and they are Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Pro. And at the time of the launching, the company said that the Redmi 5 Pro will receive the face unlock security feature by the end of this month.
Well, now the device is started to receive the new face unlock feature with the latest update of MIUI v9.2.4. The latest update also brings improvements to camera and stability Optimizations and the update weighs 1.6 GB in size.
It is worth to mention that with this roll out the Redmi 5 Pro is the first Xiaomi smartphone to have the face unlock feature. That said, while the feature is currently rolling out over the air (OTA) to the users, those who purchase the device will get the feature straight out of the box.
