Recently Redmi by Xiaomi unveiled their Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphones in India. Both smartphones offer good value for the asking price starting from Rs.9,999/-. But there are still a lot of people who don’t want to spend even this much for their smartphone. So for them Redmi is planning to launch another smartphone and that will be Redmi 7. Today we actually got two leaks of this device, one is TENAA listing and second one is a leaked hands-on video. So lets have a look at both.
TENAA Listing:
Lets start with TENAA listing. According to the listing it will sport a 6.26-inch LCD display with HD+ (1520×720) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It will come with a 1.8Ghz octa core processor. It will have 2/3/4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB of internal storage respectively, along with expandable storage support. There will be dual camera setup at the back with 12MP primary sensor. The secondary sensor is unknown. On the front there is an 8MP sensor.

Thought its not mentioned anywhere but we assume that it will run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 on top. It will have 3900mAh battery capacity. The phone will be 8.9mm thick and will weight around 180 grams. It will come with color options like Black, Red, Grey, Blue, White, Pink, Purple, and Green.
Hands-on Video:
Now this leaked Hands-on video reveals some important specifications as well as the clear look at the design. The model that’s shown here is before finalized unit, which means it doesn’t have Redmi by Xiaomi logo, but only Mi logo. The design is exactly the same as Redmi Note 7, but the bezels are a bit thinner than the Note. It will sport same 6.26-inch HD+ LCD display as mentioned in previous leak. TENAA reveals that this phone will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 octa core processor. Here we got a strange storage option i.e. 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. Maybe it’s an early unit that’s why this is the storage configuration.

The camera setup is also same as TENAA. It will pack 4000mAh battery, which is 100mAh more than previous listing. Maybe TENAA showed the minimum capacity here. While the Redmi Note series is up for Type-C port now, this Redmi 7 will have MicroUSB port. Lastly in the video the pricing was mentioned to be ¥900 (Rs.9,380), but we can’t be sure on this.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. What are your thoughts on these specs of Redmi 7? Let us know in the comment section below, along with your expected pricing. And stay tuned with us for more information.
