Redmi – the new sub-brand of the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi 7A smartphone in May, and now the device is all set to launch in the Indian market in this week.
The company will launch the device in India on July 4th and it will be available via Flipkart as the popular eCommerce website revealed the launching date on the website with a dedicated page. Furthermore, the page calls the Redmi 7A a “Smart Desh Ka Smartphone.” And it didn’t reveal any information about the price and availability of the Redmi 7A, though the online listing does underline the launch date as July 4. The microsite also specifies “fast processor”, “Facebook-ready camera”, and “long lasting battery” on the new Redmi phone.
Moreover, the Global VP of Xiaomi and MD of Xiaomi India, teases the smartphone and says that it will come with a massive feature.

Specifications of Redmi 7A
To recall the smartphone, it sports 5.45-inch HD+ display with 1440 X 720 pixels resolution along with an 18:9 aspect ratio, the screen of the device is also slightly curved to the sides which will give a compact feeling. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and paired with 2GB and 3GB of RAM, along with Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of storage, the device comes with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage and that can be expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Redmi 7A rocks a 13MP primary sensor with PDAF and LED flash along with a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone comes with P2i nano coating, which means you can take the device in the rainy season, and the device supports face unlock.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro USB. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10, and it is backed on 4,000 mAh battery with the standard 10W.
