The device features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD panel along with an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection. It comes with the power of the UNISOC T7250 SoC along with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded using a microSD card slot.
Redmi has introduced the new Redmi A5 with a 32MP dual camera setup and an 8MP selfie shooter. The device houses a large 5,200mAh battery along with 15W wired fast charging and the latest Redmi A5 runs on the Android 15 OS out of the box. The device also comes with features including a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM support (nano + nano), and GPS support.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Redmi A5 costs Rs 6,499 for the 3GB + 64GB option, while the 4GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 7,499. The Redmi A5 will be available from April 16 through the official channels and offline markets.
