Last month, Xiaomi unveiled Redmi K30 smartphone in China. That was a successor to Redmi’s premium mid-range Redmi K20. But along with regular K20 there is a Redmi K20 Pro, which is the value flagship smartphone of the company. That got a good success but now it’s not something latest in the market. So it’s the time for a successor for the Pro as well. And today’s leak is also about the same, the Redmi K30 Pro.
This Redmi K30 Pro is spotted on Geekbench 5.1 showing few specs and benchmark scores as well. Starting off with specs, it has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor that’s the latest flagship chipset by the company. Then there’s 8GB of RAM out of which 7.67GB is available, maybe during the first boot. Then on the software side it runs on Android 10, no mention of any UI here but MIUI 11 is predictable here. Now coming to the scores, the single core score is 903 and multi core score is 3362. It is better than the Snapdragon 855 Plus even though the software might be in developing stage.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Now as the leaks of Redmi K30 Pro has started, I am expecting it to launch in this quarter itself. And that will be good because launching it earlier than OnePlus 8 series will be beneficial for them. That’s because it will be one of the first value flagship smartphone having Snapdragon 865 chipset. Well, what are your thoughts and expectations from Redmi K30 Pro?
