Redmi K30i is making news from the past couple of weeks and the same rumoured as the cheapest 5G enabled smartphone by the company. Well, now the company has officially announced the device in the market of China and it comes with cool specifications that are identical with the Redmi K30 smartphone which was unveiled in December last year. Having said that, the rear camera is the only difference between both the devices. Specifications of Redmi K30i
The newly unveiled smartphone comes with a 6.67 inch full HD+ display with the 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution and offers a punch hole setup, it also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and paired with 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the new device will support 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via micro SD card.
Moving to the camera department, the new Redmi K30i rocks quad rear camera setup and that features 48 megapixel, followed by an 8 megapixel ultra Wide Angle lens, 5 megapixel macro lens and 2 megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, the smartphone features a dual front facing camera and that is in the combination of a 20 megapixel and 2 megapixel camera sensors. The smartphone is coming with face unlock and the side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with the traditional security features.
Regarding the connectivity, the new smartphone features 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1 + L2 Dual Band) + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It ships on a 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 10 OS out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI 11 on top.
Pricing and availability
The smartphone is priced at 1,899 Yuan and it will go on sale from June 2 in the market of China. Unfortunately, there is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
