RIP Windows 10 Mobile

Well, the tech giant Microsoft gave up with the mobile operating system and that’s not a new thing but today is the last day of Windows 10 mobile and if someone is using the Windows 10 mobile then you have to say goodbye to that particular operating system today.

The company has stopped the support for all Windows 10 mobile units and that means there will be no security updates and any other support for the active devices. That’s not all, the company will also stop its support for the office applications for the Windows 10 mobile from January 12, 2021. That means you will get updates for the Microsoft Office applications for 1 month more. Having said that, Microsoft still recommends its users to move to an Android or iOS device.

To recall, Microsoft unveiled the Windows 10 mobile setup in 2015 with the Lumia series and the company officially dropped the Windows phone name and presented itself as the ARM version of the operating system, and last year, the company decided to stop its mobile service.

It is worth to mention that the company will close the windows 8.1 App Store on December 16 and that means you guys cannot able to explore new applications. That said, I don’t believe that there are many users active with the Windows mobile but if someone using it then now it’s time to move on, check out the best smartphones by heading over the link.
