After a long wait, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung unveiled the first foldable smartphone early this year, but the company rescheduled the launch of the device in the market because of many issues especially in the display department.
Many testers and reviewers that the display of the device is unstable and many other problems, and a couple of days back, the director of mobile business of Samsung admitted this and now we got a new piece of information which reveals that the company has done with the redesigning process and the device is now ready to relaunch and hit the market.
The main issue was the film screen as that was mistaken for a screen protector and people tried to peel off, and that made the device unusable. Well, now the redesigned Galaxy Fold’s film is stretched and tucked under the outer bezels of the device and now no one can peel it. Next up, the issue was the hinge which now comes with extra protection both for the display and from the elements.
It is also reported that the company will restart shipping of the device in Vietnam but the launch date is yet to fix. Having said that, rumours suggest that the Galaxy Fold will be launched along with Galaxy Note 10 at the Unpacked event on August 7.
