So Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy S10 Series at their Galaxy UNPACKED event. But wait, that’s just not all. Probably this year’s UNPACKED event is one of the most interesting events as compared to the past many years. Well, that’s because today Samsung has unveiled worlds first commercial foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold. It has a book like the foldable design. The smaller display has a size of just 4.3 inch with HD+ (1960 x 840) resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. Unfolding the larger display, it has a size of 7.3 inch with resolution of Full HD+ (2152 x 1536 and 16:10 aspect ratio. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 octa core processor that’s built on 7mm process along with Adreno 640 GPU. It has 12GB of massive RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
On the camera department, it has exact same camera setup as Galaxy S10+. The primary is a 12MP sensor with f1.5 dual aperture lens and dual pixel OIS. Secondary is also a 12MP sensor but with f2.4 telephoto 2x zoom lens, autofocus, and OIS. Lastly the third one is 16MP sensor with f2.2 ultra wide angle (133) lens but with fixed focus. It can record videos up to 4K at 60fps, 1080p at 240fps, and 720p at 960fps. On the front there is a 10MP sensor with f1.9 lens and Dual Pixel PDAF, and also a secondary 8MP depth sensor with f2.2 lens and dual pixel autofocus. This device also has 4K video recording option from front camera. Other camera features are AR Emojis, Stickers, and live focus. Now here comes a difference with a 6th camera. Yes, a 10MP sensor with f2.2 lens is placed above the smaller display, so that you can take selfie even with the phone being folded.
