The South Korean electronics giant Samsung created a historical moment by launching the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G in South Korea, and becomes the first brand to launch the ‘World’s First 5G Smartphone‘. The company announced the Galaxy S10 5G ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019, and just a couple of months later, the company has made it in reality.
Galaxy S10 5G Is Here
Having said that, with the launch of world’s first 5G smartphone South Korea becomes the first country to commercially launch a nationwide 5G service and this will give users a super fast network. That’s not all, the US giant Verizon has also begun commercial services in Chicago and Minneapolis after rival AT&T made a 5G-based system available to selected users in parts of 12 cities in December.
Speaking about the Galaxy S10 5G, the South Korea’s three mobile carriers – SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus – held launch events across Seoul, and the pricing of the base version costs KRW 1.39 million ($1,200).
Well, this is definitely going to be a transformation in the smartphone industry as well as in the telecom industry. Now Samsung has the upper hand in the 5G segment, we are super excited to hands-on the device and we believe that more and more brands will come forward with the latest connectivity option, and 5G rollout will happen rapidly in the Indian land as well.
