Samsung will be launching the next generation folding devices dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The devices are said to be smarter and the flip phone will be slimmer than the previous generation. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
According to The Bell Korea, Samsung sets a goal of 6.7 million combined Flip 8 and Fold 8 units, about a 10% boost over last year’s sales. The push is led by the Flip 8, which is reportedly getting a major hardware upgrade.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is said to be the thinnest clamshell yet. It is expected that the device could measure just 9.5 mm when folded, roughly 30% slimmer than the previous generation.
It was reported that the device will be coming with the same 6.9-inch inner display, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is reported to be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold 7. But it will come with brighter AMOLED panels and S Pen support refinements.
