The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has finally announced the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. It is the slimmest folding phone of Samsung and the device comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. The device runs on the new Android operating system along with Galaxy AI features and more. So here are the full details of the latest Samsung folding device.

The latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the thinnest folding phone of the company as the device measures just 4.2mm unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. The company has also improved the hinge and the company calls it as the Armor Flexhinge. The device also features an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance.
It comes with a cover display that features a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ resolution, along with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. The cover display also features a 120Hz refresh rate. While the primary screen features an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a QXGA+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is sad to say that the company has removed the Galaxy S Pen from the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung has introduced the device with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The device comes with a 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging and wireless charging support. So the battery department is the same as the previous generation. The company has also integrated the Samsung Galaxy AI features and Google Gemini.
Speaking about the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with a 200MP camera (1/1.3-inch sensor, F1.7 aperture) along with a 12MP ultra wide angle lens and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. There is no under-display camera this time as the company is offering a punch hole cutout for both internal and external screens for the 10MP front facing camera. The device runs on Android 16 with One UI 8 out of the box. The device also comes with stereo speakers and the Oreo is tuned by AKG. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e/7, Bluetooth 5.4, aptX HD, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2.
In terms of the pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with a price tag of Rs 174,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant while the 12GB + 512GB storage option comes with a price tag of Rs 186,999 and the 16GB + 1TB variant has a price tag of Rs 210,999. It will be available from July 25.
