Samsung To Launch Galaxy W20 5G Foldable Smartphone

The 5G networking is going to be a new trend in 2020. We can see more flagships or maybe few mid-rangers to have 5G support. Apart from this the foldable smartphones are also going to be the trend next year. Just recently 5G network is announced publicly in China, where some major telecom operators launched their 5G services. Now to use 5G we need more smartphones that will support the network, and seems like Samsung is ready for the same.

China Telecom, a popular telecom service provider in the country confirms that Samsung will launch Galaxy W20 5G smartphone in November itself. Apart from the support of 5G network, another speciality of this smartphone is it’s foldable display. Yes, this is going to be the second foldable smartphone by Samsung after the Galaxy Fold. But this time the design will different. Now it will be a clamshell foldable display, which means it will fold upside and the screen will become taller. It’s very similar to upcoming Motorola RAZR 2019, which is also a foldable smartphone by Motorola. Though we don’t know whether is November launch will include the sales also, or jus the unveiling of this device. Below is a video to demonstrate what Samsung has done with this foldable technique :

So that’s all the information we have as of now. As of now we don’t have any idea about it’s availability, that it will launch outside China or not? But it will not come to Indian market for sure because 5G is far away in the country. And recently they launch the Galaxy Fold in the country. And with this I am expecting a lot more foldable smartphone launches next year, maybe some lesser priced smartphones. Well, what are your thoughts and expectations from this Samsung Galaxy W20 5G ?
