So we getting through many launch events on 26th February and finally we have the last product launch of the day. I said product, not smartphone because it’s a tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. The specs that were leaked earlier are very similar to the official once. So let’s find out what’s inside the Galaxy Tab S3.
As it’s a tablet, it sports a 9.7” QUAD HD Super AMOLED 2k Display. It has a glass back with metal frame and the thickness is only 6mm. This Galaxy Tab S3 packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad core processor clocked at 2.15Ghz . It has 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage with expandable storage via SD card slot. It has 13MP Rear Camera with single LED flash and f1.9 lens. For selfies it has an 5MP front facing camera with f2.2 lens. It has 6000mah battery. There will be four speakers on different side of the tablet. These speakers are made by the partnership of Samsung with AKG Acoustics, So the sound via the speakers should be good. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. For connectivity it has dual band wifi and single sim slot with 4G LTE support. The fingerprint sensor is also there on the home button.
Now coming to the points of a tablet. There will be the S-PEN for easy & more beneficial use of the tablet. It have features like Apple Pencil & Surface Pen. It’s nice to see that this S-PEN will be included in the box without any extra charges, we are not expecting this at all. There’s another accessory for the Galaxy Tab S3, the passive keyboard. It’s somewhat similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. But this keyboard is a separate accessory and will sold separately. There will be another Samsung tablet features like notes, drawing pad, etc.
As of now there’s no information regarding the pricing and availability. But it’s nice to see that Samsung is still trying not to shut down the tablet market completely.
