Samsung made a blast with Galaxy Note 7 last year because of there battery exploding issues. Few weeks back Samsung Revealed the causes of the exploding issue. We all thought that now Samsung has found the problem so there won’t be any blast issues, but that’s not the case. Yesterday, the factory of Samsung was caught up with fire. So what’s the whole case ? Let’s find out.
As you can see from the image below, large amount of black smoke is passing out from the Samsung’s SDI factory in China, SDI is a Samsung’s subsidiary company which provide batteries for smartphones, mostly for Samsung smartphones. Batteries of 1st batch of Note 7 was also manufactured by SDI. Interestingly, the Note 7’s batteries are the cause of fire in factory. China’s firefighters claims that the cause of this fire is also the batteries of Galaxy Note 7. All the Note 7 units which are collected by the Samsung was stored in this factory. The fire was not large and there was not much damage in the factory.
Reports are there that Samsung is still using the SDI’s batteries in there upcoming flagship, Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus. We hope that the new batteries will not cause any issue because if same thing happens again, then Samsung will have to take a huge loss and it will affect the Goodwill of Samsung very much. By the way Samsung has invested $129 Million (Approximately Rs.865 Crores INR) for the battery’s safety test.
