A couple of months ago, we updated that the very popular Chinese smartphone brand iQOO will be appointing its first CGO (Chief Gaming Officer) after the registration process and reviewing the applications, the company has now officially announced its first ever Chief Gaming Officer.

It is said that the company has received over 60,000 applications for the post but the company has selected Shwetank Pandey as India’s youngest Chief Gaming Officer. iQOO will be offering Rs 10 Lakhs INR for a fixed duration and he can work with top gamers across India.

The Chief Gaming Officer was selected after multiple rounds like competing in games, group discussions, and an audition round with Rannvijay Singha, Mythpat, and Nipun Marya as the jury. The winner was judged on the basis of his Gameplay, Gaming Knowledge, personality, and communication skills.
