The popular chipset maker Qualcomm is currently working on the next generation dubbed the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Now the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some important specifications of the vanilla variant and it is also revealed how it will be different from the Pro model. According to the latest information, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is expected to be built on TSMC’s advanced 2nm process and the processor will come with a new 2+3+3 Oryon CPU layout, along with a shared 16MB L2 cache.
The processor will also come with an Adreno 845 GPU with a six-slice design along with 12MB GMEM and 6MB system-level cache and it is also expected to support LPDDR5X memory and UFS 5.0 storage.
It is reported that the vanilla variant will be coming with slightly reduced cache and peripheral capabilities compared to the Pro model.
