Just yesterday we got the teaser image of LG G6 and now we have another confirmation. Yes it’s not a leak, it’s a confirmation by LG itself. It’s a confirmation that LG is going to use last year’s flagship processor Snapdragon 821 processor instead of latest Snapdragon 835 processor. Earlier also we got the leak that LG might use Snapdragon 821 instead of Snapdragon 835, but now it’s confirmed. There are some other confirmed specs as well. So let’s have a look at those specs and talk about the processor in a bit more detail.
The image below was taken at CES 2017. As you can see from the image it’s clearly showing that the CPU in LG G6 is Qualcomm MSM8996AC, that means Snapdragon 821 processor. The reason is same as before that Samsung has decided to launch there upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 as the 1st device to come with Snapdragon 835 processor. And other OEMs can launch there phones with Snapdragon 835 processor only from May or June. And seems like LG wants to take risk of the latest CPU as there’s a time frame between both the device’s launch and availability. And LG thinks that they can sell a good amount of G6 if they launch it before the Galaxy S8. So let’s wait & watch what happens.

There are some more specs in the picture as well. On the left there’s a image of LG G6 from it’s left side, that’s similar to the earlier leaked images. The LG G6 will be water & dust resistant. It will also have QUAD DAC that’s used to amplify the sound in LG V20. The fingerprint sensor will be rear mounted same as LG V20 & LG G5. The screen size is also confirmed, that’s 5.7” full vision display, the resolution is still unknown but most probably it will have QUAD HD 2k Display, same from LG G3.
More and more leaks & news will of LG G6 will come out daily as MWC is not so far. So stay tuned with us for more information regarding LG G6 and other smartphones as well.
