We know that Samsung is running the beta program for OneUI 2.0 on it’s latest flagships from quite a few days. Beta users are experiencing a lot of new features and refreshed UI. Now Samsung has shared with us some of the biggest changes and features in this upcoming OneUI 2.0, so without further delay, let’s find out those features.
One of the biggest change in OneUI 2.0 is more simplified UI. As the smartphones are become more and more taller, using it with single hand is becoming more and more difficult. So Samsung aimed to make single hand usage more easier and convenient. Pop-ups like sound adjustments and notifications are now more minimal and takes lesser space. And as we know the latest software trend of 2019, the dark mode is improved and now has support for more system apps. Now it’s original black dark mode so it will look cool on OLED panels and will save a bit of battery as well.

The keyboard got an high contrast mode which will help to find the letters more easily and keyboard looks much more colourful. Same is with some system app icons like Messenger and Contacts which will make them more easily visible. There are customisations in hearing and visibility which will be helpful for some people facing physical problems like eye problems. There is Digital Wellbeing with enhanced features by Samsung, like screen time management and focus mode.
These features are currently in testing and can be found in Beta version. The stable version for current flagships is expected to roll-out by the end of this year. Samsung said that OneUI 2.0 will be expanded to other devices like wearables and Galaxy Fold (or future foldable devices). So what are your thoughts and expectations from OneUI 2.0 ?
