Today the Japanese electronics giant Sony has unveiled a new device called Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, the device is the successor of last year’s XA1 Plus. With the new device, the company is targeting to the users who prefer the mid-range smartphones. This Xperia XA2 Plus sports a 6 inch Full HD+ display with Image Enhance Technology along with 18:9 aspect ratio and has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. To protect the unwanted scratches with Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by octa core Snapdragon 630 processor and paired with 4/6 GB RAM, along with Adreno 508 GPU. The smartphone has 32/64 internal storage with support for expandable upto 400 GB via microSd Card.
It has 23 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens, 1/2.3” Exmor RS mobile image sensor, SteadyShot, 120 FPS Slow-Motion video recording and LED flash. For selfies there’s an 8 megapixel shooter with f/2.4 aperture, 120-degree wide-angle lens, 1/4” Exmor R mobile image sensor, SteadyShot, and Portrait Mode. It also features fingerprint scanner, along with LDAC, DSEE HX, and aptX HD.
The device supports 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type-C. It runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. To power up the phone a 3,580 mAh battery is packed which comes with Quick Charge 3.0.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, the company hasn’t revealed both the details.
