Soon Google Photos May Allow To Control Bokeh Effect

These days the popularity of the bokeh effect increases a lot and almost every smartphone brand implement this feature in their camera modules. Well, the feature actually blur’s the background of an image, or in other words with, this feature, you can highlight the subject and blur the unwanted areas of an image. And now the Google Photos app will soon allow you to control the bokeh effect with a new update.

Yes, it’s true. The Google Photos app which keeps a backup of your photos will be smarter in coming days, as Google is gearing up to roll out few new features to the Google photos app and one of them is the option to adjust the bokeh effect and lowering the photo quality to save on storage.

According to the source, there are some clues hidden in the APK teardown and it suggests that the upcoming update of Google Photos will bring two new options. And the first one is, adjusting the amount of bokeh effect, which means you can increase the effect according to your choice. And the next one will allow you to lower the quality of the images and with this, you can save more spaces to capture your good moments.

Till now there is no word from the officials, and that’s why we can’t say the timeline of new features. But as the teardown indicates that the features are there which means we are very close to.
