After the acquisition of Fitbit in 2020, the search engine giant Google announced that it will offer a new way to login early this year and now the company has announced that users can able to use google accounts to login on Fitbit devices. The new option to login will be implemented on June 6.
It is reported that from June 6, you guys can able to use Google account details to login and access all the existing Fitbit data, including activity tracking, sleep data, and heart rate data. It is also said that Google will be using the data of Fitbit to improve its own health and fitness products, such as Google Fit.
It is said that logging into Fitbit with Google is optional for now and the company is planning to make it mandatory for users to migrate their accounts to Google by 2025. It is worth mentioning that if you don’t migrate then you will not able to use your Fitbit devices or access their Fitbit data.
