The Tech giant Microsoft unveiled Cortana its Windows 10 operating system, and the company’s in-house virtual assistant Cortana is powered with the Artificial Intelligence. The company praised it a lot and integrated Cortana in the operating system very deeply. However, now we got a new report which suggests that the developers of Microsoft may soon allow you to replace Cortana with third-party virtual assistants such as Amazon’s Alexa, Google assistant or any other.
The latest Windows 10 build suggest that the company is separating the search from Cortana and the virtual assistant but it still can be used for the purpose. And the developers also discovered that users will able to replace Cortana from the taskbar with third-party applications. We can expect the ability of this, will arrive in the next major update of the operating system.
If the information turns true, then Microsoft will actually tweak with the wake up detection word, as currently, when we say Cortana the virtual assistant pops up to help and if the company changes the wake up word and allow users to use others as well, then we can able to use the third-party virtual assistant on the windows platform.
So, that’s all the information we have at this moment of time, we believe to hear more about the same in the coming days and don’t forget to share your thoughts on the new changes in the comments section below!
