Just a couple of months ago, the Chinese smartphone maker Oppo unveiled its camera-oriented smartphone called Reno 2 and now it seems that the company already working on the successor of the device and it will be dubbed as Oppo Reno 3. As today the complete specification details of the upcoming smartphone surfaced online.
According to the source, the upcoming Oppo Reno 3 smartphone will feature its 6.5 inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is said that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 processor and paired with 8GB of RAM along with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage with the UFS 2.1, and it is also said that the smartphone will have thermal paste and graphite sheet, this will help to keep the device cool.
Furthermore, the source says that the upcoming smartphone will rock quad rear camera and will have a 60MP Sony IMX686 sensor, which is the successor of the Sony IMX586 and it is yet to announce. The smartphone will also have a 5x telephoto camera (hybrid zoom), along with an ultra-wide and a black and white sensor. The device will also have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with the Samsung Bright GD1, but there is no confirmation for the Shark fin design or any other kind of pop-up mechanism.
The source also says that the upcoming Oppo Reno 3 smartphone will support the in-display fingerprint scanner and it will have a glass back which will be protected with Gorilla Glass. The smartphone will have a 4,500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
Speaking about the availability of the device, there is no information about that. That said, Sony confirmed to launch the new camera sensor in 2020, which means we can expect the launch of Oppo Reno 3 in next year.
