Along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor details, the popular chipset maker has announced the complete technical details of the new mid-range processor – Snapdragon 765 and 765G. Without making any further let’s check out the complete details of the new processor.
Everything about Qualcomm Snapdragon 765
The new Snapdragon 765 processor is a successor of Snapdragon 730 and it offers 20% better performance and comes with Adreno 620 GPU which is also a great improvement compared to the predecessor. On the other hand, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G offers a 38% improvement in graphics performance and that’s because it is a GPU boosted variant of Qualcomm Snapdragon 765.
Speaking about the CPU setup, the 765 still uses Cortex-A76 performance cores and the chip also backed with the Prime core up to 2.3 GHz in the 765 and 2.4 GHz in the 765G, and another performance core that reaches 2.2 GHz on both bins. The six Cortex-A55 based efficiency cores and goes to 1.8 GHz.
Both the Snapdragon 765 and 765G supports 2133MHz LPDDR4X RAM, and the new chipset offers the dual 14-bit Spectra 355 ISP. It can support one 192 MP primary camera sensor or a 36 MP sensor with zero shutter lag, or two 22 MP sensor with zero shutter lag. It can offer video recording at 4K at 30fps, and also supports 1080p at 120fps.
Furthermore, both the chipsets are coming with the support of 5G and it is manufactured on Samsung’s EUV process. Speaking about the availability, the first set of devices with the power of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 series chipset will available in the first quarter of next year.
