Back in the last week, we came across the renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartphone which is based on Android Go. Well, if you are aware about the Android Go powered devices then it is a specially optimized operating system for the low-end smartphones and Samsung is going to unveil an Android Go for the first time. Now today the user manual along with the complete specification details of the device leaked online.
The upcoming Android Go powered smartphone of Samsung will be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A2 Core, and the leaked information reveals that the device will sport a 5 inch display with 960 X 540 pixels resolution and the complete setup will measure 141.7 x 71.0 x 9.1 mm and it’s just 142 gram weighs. Under the hood, the device will have Exynos 7870 chipset at its heart along with 1 GB of RAM and that is enough for an Android Go powered device. The device will also have a dedicated slot for the micro SD card.
Speaking about the camera department, the device will rock a 5 megapixel sensor at the rear side with 1.12µm pixels, f/1.9 aperture, and there is no information about the front facing camera. Having said that, the device will be available in two models; single sim and dual sim.
For connectivity, the smartphone will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, a 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core will run Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition, and the smartphone will ship on a 2,600 mAh battery.
Right now, there is no information about the pricing and availability but we believe that the company will launch the device very soon.
