Early this year, we updated that the Mountain View company Google acquired the Smartwatch department of the popular watch brand Fossil. Well, now it seems that the company is testing its own Pixel branded Smartwatch with the power of Fossil Smartwatch department. As the backbone of the tech giant Google Sundar Pichai wearing the Fossil Smartwatch at its Developer Conference Google I/O 2019.
The very popular YouTuber Marques K. Brownlee, known as MKBHD, recently took to Twitter and asked his followers to identify Pichai’s watch. And the netizens cracked down the sum, stating that the Google Chief Executive Officer (CEO) was wearing a Fossil Sport smartwatch with black silicone wristband.
Well, this strongly suggests that the company is testing the smartwatches and the brand may unveil its first Pixel branded smartwatches later this year at the Made by Google event, where the company usually unveils its hardware products.
