The Chinese electronics brand has unveiled a new smartphone called TCL Plex, and the device is coming with a new setup of the display which will attract the consumers. The company has unveiled the smartphone at the ongoing IFA 2019 event, let’s check out the complete details of the device.
Specifications of TCL Plex
The smartphone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display along with the company’s proprietary Nxtvision technology with 6-axis colour enhancement. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor along with 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device comes with 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 256 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving to the camera department, the TCL Plex rocks triple rear cameras and that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX582 sensor (f/1.8 aperture, 0.8-microns pixel size, 79-degree field of view), 16-megapixel secondary Samsung S5K3P9 sensor (f/2.4 aperture, 1-micron pixels, 123-degree field of view), and a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02K sensor (f/1.8 aperture, 2.9-micron pixels, 77-degree field of view). The smartphone also has a 24-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 0.9-micron pixels, and a 78.2 degree field of view. The smartphone supports the fingerprint scanner and face unlock for the additional layer of security.
Regarding the connectivity, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi Direct. The TCL Plex runs TCL UI based on Android 9 Pie and packs a 3,820 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
Pricing and availability
The smartphone is priced at EUR 329, and will go on sale from Q4 2019 in select markets in Europe.
