Lava Agni 2 5G
The Lava Agni 2 5G features a glass sandwich body along with a curved display and the same features a 6.78 inch display with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and it offers FHD+ resolution. It also features a 120Hz refresh rate and the device is coming with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device is also offering a massive 93.65% screen-to-body ratio. The display is also supporting HDR 10, HDR 10+, and Widevine L1.
Under the hood, the Lava Agni 2 5G is housing a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 mobile processor along with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. It is also coming with a vapor chamber cooling system to manage thermals.
Speaking about the camera departments, the Lava Agni 2 5G features a quad-camera setup on the back panel and that is in the combination of a 50MP primary sensor with a pixel size of 1µm along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It is also supporting a 16 megapixel front facing camera as well.
The device is running on Android 13 and the company promises to deliver Android 14 and Android 15 updates along with 3 years of quarterly security updates. The device is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology as well.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Lava Agni 2 5G is priced at ₹21,999 and the device will be available exclusively on Amazon India. The device is available in Glass Viridian (green) color option and the same will go on sale from May 24.
Redmi A2 series is now official in India
The devices are coming with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display along with HD+ resolution and the devices are coming with a dotdrop notch on the top of the screen as well as 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the latest devices are powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 mobile processor along with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expandable using a Micro SD card. The devices are running on the Android 12 Go edition.
The devices are featuring an 8-megapixel primary lens and a QVGA secondary lens on the back panel. The devices are also coming with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The devices are housing 5000mAh batteries.
The Redmi A2 Plus is coming with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner support but the Redmi A2 is not having the same.
The Redmi A2 is coming with Rs. 6,299 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, Rs. 6,799 for the 2GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, and Rs. 7,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. While the Redmi A2+ with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at Rs. 8,499. The devices will be available from popular platforms such as Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi home stores, and various offline stores from May 23rd.
Nokia launches the new Nokia 105 2023 & Nokia 106 4G phones in India
Nokia has introduced its new feature phones in the market of India called the Nokia 105 2023 & Nokia 106 4G and the devices are coming with the support for India’s Unified Payment Interface (UPI) system, which will enable users to make instant payments using 123PAY even without internet connectivity.
The Nokia 105 2023 features a 1.8-inch TFT LCD display with 120 x 160 pixels resolution while the Nokia 106 4G sports a 1.8-inch IPS LCD panel. The Nokia 105 2023 phone is having a 1,000mAh battery, which is claimed to offer 12 hours of talk time and 22 days of standby time. While the Nokia 106 4G features a 1,450mAh battery and the same is said to offer a couple of weeks in standby mode. Both Nokia devices are having a Micro USB port and the same features a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The devices are running on the Series 30+ (S30+) operating system and the Nokia 105 2023 is offering 2G connectivity, while the Nokia 106 4G supports LTE. Both devices are coming with IP52 water resistance and the devices are also supporting wireless FM radio. The new Nokia 106 4G will enable you to play MP3 files using your microSD card.
The Nokia 105 2023 is priced at Rs. 1,299 while the Nokia 106 4G comes with a price tag of Rs. 2,199.
Beats Studio Buds+ unveiled
The device is also coming with IPX4 sweat and water-resistant ratings and the Beats Studio Buds+ is capable to automatically between Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode with the push of a button. It is also supporting Spatial Audio for Dolby Atmos on Apple Music.
The Beats Studio Buds+ is also featuring “Hey Siri” and Find My. It is also compatible with Google Fast Pair and Audio Switch, enabling users to seamlessly switch between Android, Chromebook, and other compatible devices. The device is also supporting Google Find My Device as well.
Beats Studio Buds+ can offer up to 36 hours of battery life when the ANC feature is turned off with the charging case. It is also supporting fast charging capability.
