Madhav Sheth resigned from Realme
The Realme India CEO, Global VP of Realme, and President of Realme International Business Group, Madhav Sheth has officially confirmed that he is stepping down from the company. It is worth mentioning that last week, we came across a report with suggested that he might join HONOR India.
Madhav Sheth has played a crucial role in Realme to growth in the country and to make the brand strong in the smartphone in the story. He is stepping down from the company after a successful 5 years journey.
Xiaomi Pad 6 is now official in India
The Xiaomi Pad 6 features an 11-inch LCD display along with 2880 x 1800 pixels resolution and 309 PPI. The device is also having a 10-bit panel and the same supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also coming with a 240Hz touch sampling rate as well as a 550 nits peak brightness level. The display of the device can offer HDR10 and Dolby Vision content. It is also supporting Xiaomi Smart Pen 2nd Generation and the same offers 4096-level pressure sensitivity along with up to 150-hour battery life. The device is also supporting quad speakers.
Under the hood, the latest Xiaomi Pad 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC along with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device is running on Android 13 with the MIUI 14 for Pad out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the device features a 13MP camera on the back panel along with an 8MP front-facing camera. The front camera of the device is also supporting a feature called FocusFrame which is similar to the Apple Center Stage feature and the same will be enhanced by a 4-mic array for video calls.
The tablet is also supporting WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-C). The tablet can be paired with the optional official keyboard accessory with 64 keys and 1.3mm key travel. It is also housing a massive 8,840mAh battery along with 33W first charging support. The device is supporting multiple charging standards including Qualcomm Quick Charge, USB PD (Power Delivery), and Xiaomi Fast Charging.
It is having a starting price of ₹26,999 and the same will be available from June 21 via Mi.com, Xiaomi Retail, and Amazon India.
YouTube lowers requirements for its monetization program
YouTube has updated its policy and the same will enable creators to join the YouTube Partner Program once they reach 500 subscribers, which is half of the current requirement. Moreover, the threshold for valid watch hours has been reduced from 4,000 to 3,000.
YouTube has also reduced the number of Shorts views required as well and now the company has been adjusted from 10 million to 3 million. Speaking about the availability of the new changes, it will be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Taiwan, and South Korea in the initial stage but the company will expand the same in other parts of the world very soon.
Instagram brings Broadcast Channels feature In India
The popular social media platform Instagram has officially introduced the broadcast channels feature in India and the same is similar to the channels which are available on Telegram. The feature will enable creators to share text along with images, videos, and event polls.
Disney+ Hotstar will feature 2 upcoming major ICC tournaments
Disney+ Hotstar has officially confirmed that the platform will be featuring 2 upcoming major ICC tournaments for free of cost. The offer will be available for mobile users only and it is confirmed that the platform will be telecasting Asia Cup 2023 and ICC World Cup matches. It is worth mentioning that the platform will offer only three matches for free in this offer.
