Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy AI
Samsung introduced the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 along with Plus and Ultra models. The Samsung Galaxy S24 features a 6.2-inch display while the S24 Plus comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen. Both devices feature a 50-megapixel wide primary camera a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The device also features a 12-megapixel selfie sensor.
The devices feature the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor in selected regions. The Indian models will come with the power of the Exynos chipset. The Samsung Galaxy S24 comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage while the Plus variant comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The vanilla variant is backed by a 4,000mAh battery while the Plus variant houses a 4,900mAh capacity. The vanilla variant comes with 25W charging support and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus features a 45W charging solution. The devices also support Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare features as well.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and the device features S Pen. It comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of internal storage. All three devices run on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone features a quad rear camera setup including 200-megapixel primary camera. It also includes 10 megapixels with 3x optical zoom, perfect for portrait and close-up shots. The device also features a 12-megapixel selfie camera with F2.2 aperture and Dual Pixel autofocus technology. The newly announced Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone houses a large 5,000mAh battery along with 45W fast charging support, wireless charging 2.0 technology and wireless power sharing.
Finally, the company introduced new Galaxy AI features including Circle to search, live translation, chat assistant, note assistant, and voice recording assistant.
WhatsApp Channels receive four new features
WhatsApp has officially introduced 4 new features in the channels section that include a poll along with the capability to add up to 16 admins which will make management super easy. WhatsApp has also introduced the capability to send voice notes in the channels and followers can share the latest updates to their WhatsApp status as well.
Realme 12 Pro series launch date confirmed
Realme 12 Pro series floating online for the past few weeks and last week, the Chinese smartphone brand has officially confirmed that the devices will be official on January 29. The devices will be available in the country via Flipkart and it is also confirmed that the upcoming Realme 12 Pro series will feature the Sony IMX890 50-megapixel camera on the back.
Jio and Airtel to end unlimited 5G service
Jio and Airtel are currently offering unlimited 5G service in India but now it is reported that the networks will be stopping the unlimited 5G service and the companies will introduce special packages for the 5G service. It is also said that the company will increase the pricing of the 4G plans by around 10%.
Realme Note 50 goes official
Realme has introduced the new and first phone in its Note series dubbed the Realme Note 50 with a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display. The device runs on Realme UI T-based Android 13 Go.
The Realme Note 50 smartphone comes with the power of the Unisoc T612 mobile processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support via a USB-C port. The Realme Note 50 smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and the back panel of the device features a 13-megapixel camera, a monochrome sensor, and an LED flash.
