Android 15 beta 1 released
Google has released the first beta version of Android 15 and the same comes with app optimization for larger displays the company will make the applications that are designed for the operating system to render in an edge-to-edge format by default. The company also introduces the support for Braille displays within the TalkBack screen reader. It also features an OS-level feature for app archiving and unarchiving and this will be beneficial to manage storage space. The company has also improved security by introducing an API for end-to-end encryption of contact keys and the same will allow users to securely manage and verify the contact information of others.
boAt suffers massive data leak
It is reported that boAt suffers from a massive data breach and it is estimated that around 7.2 million customer information were exposed on the dark web. The report says that multiple sensitive information including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, customer IDs, and more.
The problem happened on April 5, according to the source, which means a couple of days ago. The company is yet to confirm the matter.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G goes official in India
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the display is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device runs on the latest Android 14 operating system with One UI 6.1 on top.
It comes with the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor along with up to 12GB of RAM on the board and 256 GB of internal storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card. The device houses a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 45W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G features a 50-megapixel camera on the front while the back panel of the device comes with a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel camera for ultra-wide shots, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Realme P1 & Realme P1 Pro coming to India
Realme P1 & Realme P1 Pro smartphones are confirmed to be official in India on April 15 and the brand has confirmed that this particular smartphone lineup will be exclusive in the country.
It is revealed that the upcoming Realme P1 smartphone will come with the power of a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 mobile processor while the P1 Pro smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
The upcoming Realme P1 Pro smartphone will be coming with a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with 2160Hz PWM dimming, and it will feature 2.32mm thick thin. The device will be coming with TUV certification and it will feature a punch hole cut out at the centre position of the screen. The device is also confirmed to come with a rainwater touch capability and it will be supporting 45W fast charging solution. The device will be coming with a circular camera module on the back panel as well.
While the upcoming Realme P1 smartphone will be the first in the Rs 15000 segment to come with a 120Hz AMOLED display along with a flat panel with a punch-hole cut out at the centre position of the screen. The device also features 2000nits brightness and the device comes with TUV Rheinland eye-protection certification. It also features 4356mm vapour chamber cooling system and the device will come with a 3.5mm audio jack.
OnePlus and Oppo will get massive AI power
It is officially confirmed that the devices of both OnePlus and Oppo will be getting the power of Google Germany and the same is the very powerful AI model. The timeline is yet to be confirmed but it is said that the same will be available before the end of this year.
