Nothing Phone 3a Series unveiled
The latest Nothing Phone 3a series features a 6.77-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone series has the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 mobile processor. The vanilla variant features 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage while the Pro variant features 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.1 out of the box. The smartphone series is promised to receive six years of Android updates and security patches.
The devices also come with Essential Space and the same can be triggered via a customizable button and it is available under the power key. By default, you can be able to tap the button once to quickly capture and send content to Essential Space, long-press to record a voice note, and double-tap to open the library of saved content.
Both devices come with a massive 5000mAh battery along with 50W wired charging. The camera department is making the difference between the two phones. The Nothing Phone 3a Pro comes with a 50MP main sensor with OIS along with a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and the same can extend to 6x using TrueLens 3.0 and AI for enhanced image quality. The device also features an 8MP ultrawide camera on the back. On the other hand, the device comes with a 50MP selfie lens as well. The vanilla variant comes with the same main and ultrawide cameras as the Pro but this device features the periscope for a 50MP 2x zoom lens. It also comes with a 32MP front facing camera. The devices offer Glyph Interface and IP64 dust and water resistance.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the vanilla variant has a starting price of ₹22,999 while the Nothing Phone 3a Pro comes with a starting price of ₹27,999 (with bank offers). The vanilla variant will be available from March 11 while the Pro variant will be available from March 15. The smartphone series will be available via Flipkart and the leading stores in the country.
Apple launches new MacBook Air
The latest MacBook Air features a sleek as well as finless design, the new MacBook Air in multiple screen sizes including 13.6-inch and 15.3-inch display options, both sizes come with 500 nits of brightness, 10-bit color depth, P3 wide color gamut, and True Tone technology.
The Apple MacBook Air has the power of the Apple M4 processor that features a 10-core CPU and up to a 10-core GPU, the device also supports up to 32GB of unified memory along with 16GB of RAM. It also comes with Apple Intelligence and the same brings features including Smart Replies in Messages, Mail Summaries, Clean Up in Apple Photos, Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground.
It also comes with a 12MP front-facing camera and the device also supports Center Stage feature that will keep you in frame during video calls, and Desk View. It also comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and MagSafe charging.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the 13-inch variant of the MacBook Air has a price tag of $999 in the US and ₹99,000 in India, while the 15-inch model is priced at $1,199 and ₹124,000. The device will be available from March 12.
Samsung Galaxy A56 unveiled
The Samsung Galaxy A56 comes with Awesome Intelligence (AI) and the same features Circle to Search, Best Face, Object Eraser, and Filters. The device runs on One UI 7, which is based on Android 15 and the company is offering 6 years of software and security updates.
It has the power of the Exynos 1580 along with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The device also comes with a large vapor chamber. The Samsung Galaxy A56 comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Samsung Galaxy A56 features a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera. The device also comes with a 12MP f/2.2 selfie camera. The device houses a massive 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Regarding the pricing and availability, the device has a starting price of Rs 41999 and you can purchase the device through the official website of the brand.
iPad Air 2025 goes official
The latest iPad Air 2025 is official in two display size variants including an 11-inch display with 2360 x 1640 pixels resolution and a 13-inch display with 2732×204 pixels resolution. The company offers the devices with Retina True Tone display as well.
Under the hood, the latest iPad Air 2025 comes with the power of the 8-core Apple M3 chip and the same includes a 9-core GPU along with a 16 core Neural Engine. The device also comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The device features a 12MP camera with 4K 60fps recording support and the device features a 12MP front facing camera. The iPad Air 2025 runs on the iPadOS 18 out of the box. You can purchase the device from March 12.
YouTube Premium Lite announced
This package brings advertisement free experience on selected content including gaming, fashion, beauty, and news. The package will be showing advertisement in music content and Shorts. You can also expect advertisements in search or browse the platform as well.
The latest YouTube Premium Lite will not offer the capabilities such as background playback and downloads. It has a price tag of $7.99 per month and it is worth mentioning that the regular YouTube Premium plan has a price tag of $13.99 per month. The package is currently available in the United States and it will be available in Germany along with Thailand and Australia in the coming weeks. The company says that it will expand the availability of the new package to more countries this year.
