1. LG V30 Goes Official With 6 Inch P-OLED Display:
After all the leaks & rumours, this week LG has officially unveiled its new flagship device called LG V30 at the IFA event in Berlin. This is actually a true flagship phone for LG this year, as the LG G6 which was launched back in February at MWC event came with a generation older Snapdragon 821 processor. Though that’s still a very powerful processor but we can’t call it the 2017 flagship. So apart from latest chipset this LG V30 is one of the 1st smartphone out there which has P-OLED display. The display used is the FullVision display which was unveiled by LG G6. The camera is also special here with f1.6 lens, which is the 1st for any smartphone out there. 2. Motorola Unveiled Moto X4 With Dual Camera Setup:
From early this year, we got a bunch of rumours and leaks of Motorola Moto X4. It was said to be a premium mid-range device and also it is going to be a comeback of “Moto X” series after Moto X Force. So this week at the Motorola/Lenovo’s event at IFA 2017, they made the Moto X4 official. This is one of the 1st few phones which came with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor. Also it’s the 1st phone in ‘Moto X’ series phone which comes with Dual Camera Setup. The design of this phone is very premium and it looks very classy. 3. Apple iPhone 8 to Launch on 12th September:
Whole smartphone lovers were waiting for the confirmation from Apple to know the unveiling date of iPhone 8, and this week Apple has officially announced the event date i.e. 12th September 2017. This event might take place at the Steve Jobs theatre in Apple headquarters. Apple will launch total of three iPhone, and some other Apple devices. If we say about the next iPhone, it is expected to come with bezel-less OLED display. Also the pricing is expected to cross $1000 in USA, it might be the most expensive iPhone ever. 4. Moto G5S and G5S Plus Launched in India:
After Unveiling both Moto G5S and G5S Plus last month, this week Motorola launched both these phone in India. Both these phones are slight update over the Moto G5 and G5 Plus, which was unveiled back in February. & That difference is in the camera. The Moto G5S Plus sports a Dual Camera Setup which is 1st for any Moto G device. Camera on Moto G5S is also improved over Moto G5. 5. Huawei Launched Kirin 970 Processor:
If we talk about processors, OEMs like Qualcomm, Apple, and Exynos are very popular here. But over the past 1-2 years Huawei’s self-made Kirin processors are also doing good in the market. This week Huawei launched their new flagship processor named as Kirin 970. This is the 1st processor by Huawei that’s built on 10nm process, and 3rd one after Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895. This time Huawei has focused on improving Artificial Intelligence via this processor. This processor will make it’s debut with the launch of Huawei Mate 10 in October.
