Welcome everyone to this week’s Weekly Round-up. In this series of Weekly Round-up, we will showcase Top 5 trending news of this week as well as 2 mentioned news which are very interesting but can’t make there way to the Top 5 list. This week is trending for Google, Huawei, & more. So, let’s have a look at this week’s Top 5 trending news.
1. Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Officially Unveiled:
We were getting quite a bit of Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL leaks from past few months. This week Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones at Made by Google event in San Francisco. The common rumours and leaks about both devices turns out to be true, as the Pixel 2 carries almost same design, while Pixel 2 XL has a new (for Google phones) bezel-less design. Both these devices got some specs upgrade like Snapdragon 835 processor, base storage now 64GB, and IP67 certification. But the biggest improvement in both devices are in terms of camera. Despite both phones still carry a single rear camera, the improved camera sensor along with Google’s Machine Learning technology can easily take those bokeh shots, and samples by Google seems good. User can take bokeh shots even with the front facing camera. For detailed coverage on this news Click Here.
2. Honor 9i Officially Launched In India:
Few months back Honor launched a smartphone named ‘Maimang 6’ in China that comes with Quad Camera Setup. Earlier this week they launched the same device in Malaysia with the name ‘Nova 2i’. They also bought this phone to India this week with the name ‘Honor 9i’. The USP of this phone is it’s Quad Camera Setup, 2 rear cameras and 2 front cameras. We can take ‘two person bokeh’ shots with the front camera as well. The screen here is a big 5.9” FullVision display with Full HD+ resolution. The processor used here is Huawei’s own Kirin 659 processor, which is a mid-range processor. This is a Flipkart exclusive device. For detailed coverage on this news Click Here.
3. Huawei Mate 10 To Come With 4000mAh Battery:
We are less then 2 weeks away from the launch of Huawei Mate 10, probably last flagship of 2017 from any tier 1 brand. The company has teased some features like bezel-less display, and improved camera. But this week they confirmed via their social networking handles that this Huawei Mate 10 will have 4000mAh battery. Now that seems to be an interesting thing as a 4000mAh battery in a flagship device is not common as of now. And irony here is that these flagship phones with powerful processors and high resolution displays needs more power than midrange phones. For detailed coverage on this news Click Here.

We all know that Windows Phone OS is almost dead as Microsoft hasn’t launched any new phone since a long time. Arrow Launcher was a Microsoft launcher in past and now it got a refined look with lot’s of new features with Microsoft Launcher. Microsoft also announced their Edge Browser for Android & iOS devices. It is said to be more refined than other launchers on both OS. 5. Google Assistant Available On Play Store:
Last year when Google launched their AI system ‘Assistant’, it was exclusive for Pixel phones. After some time it rolled out to Nexus phones and then to all Android devices running Android 7.0 & above . Now Google wants to reach out to more users worldwide as Google Assistant is now available on Play Store. It’s available for devices having Android marshmallow & above.
