Welcome everyone to the last Weekly Round-up of 2017. This year was very great for tech news. Coming back to this week’s Weekly Round-up, In this series, we will showcase Top 5 trending news of this week. As this is the last week of the year, there’s not much which we can call as trending news. So I guess there’s no need for mentioned new this week. This week is in talks with Samsung, Xiaomi, & more. So, let’s have a look at this week’s Top 5 trending news.


1. Samsung To Launch New Exynos Processor Soon:

Samsung unveils two new wearables at the IFA


Exynos 8895, Samsung’s in-house processor is considered as one of the best processors in 2017. It directly competes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and beats it in some areas like efficiency. Now for 2018, Samsung is ready for their latest processor. Samsung has recently teased that they are going to launch #TheNextExynos which is supposed to be 9-series processor. There are few rumours that this processor will be based on 8nm process. 2. Samsung To Launch New ‘On’ Series Smartphone in India: 

Another Samsung teaser this week, but that’s regarding a smartphone. Amazon India started teasing a new Samsung smartphone to launch in India soon. The teaser clearly indicates that this is going to be the new ‘On’ series smartphone. Most probably it will be Galaxy On5 and On7 2018 version. Amazon has teased it with a new way of shopping, looks, and performance. There are some predictions like this phone can be purchased via Amazon Pay or Samsung Pay, this phone might have 18:9 aspect ratio, and this phone might have a good processor. 3. Now Track Your Xiaomi Product That’s Gone At Service Centre: 

We all are very tired to know about our products situation when it’s gone for service centre. That Is our product under repair? or is it repaired ? Well Xiaomi brings a solution here with their new live tracking system of their products sent at service centre. Now we can easily track the status of our Xiaomi product like under repair, repaired, or out for delivery. It’s just like tracking the status of our newly ordered product from , Flipkart, Amazon, etc. Consumers just have to go through few steps to track their order status. 4. WhatsApp To End Their Support For Some Older Devices:


Over the course of time, we got used to much social networking and messenger service. They have become an important part of our life now. In messenger service, only WhatsApp shine in everyone’s smartphone. Hardly few people don’t use WhatsApp on their smartphones. Now seems like the number of people who don’t use WhatsApp will increase a bit. That’s because WhatsApp is going to end their support for devices that are running on older versions of their respective OS. 5. OnePlus 5 Now Getting Stable Oreo Update: 

Last month OnePlus updated their previous generation flagships (OnePlus 3 & 3T) to latest Android version i.e. Android 8.0 Oreo. Now, his week OnePlus also pushed the stable Oreo update to their current generation flagship device i.e. OnePlus 5. They also updated their own skin of Oxygen OS to OxygenOS 5.0 . This update brings all Oreo features within and some extra OnePlus features as well.
