Tecno Pova 5G was announced last month in the market of Nigeria and it is the first 5G enabled smartphone of the brand. The device is coming with a massive display and a big battery. The company also included a 50-megapixel quad-camera unit. Now the CEO of the company has revealed the launching timeline and the pricing details for the Indian market.
Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of Transsion India, has officially confirmed the launching and pricing in India and the same was revealed in an interview with GizNext.
It is revealed that the device will be official in the country in the third or fourth week of January and the top most executive of the company has confirmed that the pricing of the device will be between ₹18,000 and ₹20,000 in India.
Apart from this, the executive has also confirmed that the company will expand its portfolio in India and they will bring new TWS, speakers, and a smartwatch in 2022.
It is also revealed that the Tecno wristwatch will be official in the country in the second quarter of this year and the same will cost less than ₹5,000. Specifications of Tecno POVA 5G
The Tecno POVA 5G supports a 6.95-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. The device has 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. It also features 480ppi pixel density, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. The latest houses Dimensity 900 chipset.
The device packs 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has 3 GB of virtual RAM and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs on HiOS and it is based on Android 11. It features the Aether Black edition of the POVA 5G.
Regarding the camera, the smartphone supports a rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera as well as a 2-megapixel camera and AI lens. There is a 12-megapixel front-facing. The Tecno 4K time-lapse and panorama.
Tecno POVA 5G houses a 6,000mAh battery, with 18W fast charging. It needs only a 15-minute charge for 3 hours of gameplay time. The device provides 775 hours of standby time and 55 hours of talk time.
