Top social media App Twitter plans to revamp their verification policy

Twitter mark a complete account to have a substantiate email address or telephone number or profile image and display name. The revamped Twitter verification policy will come into effect from January 20 2021 and the application process for verification will start from early 2021.

The Twitter’s verification policy has been rebuilt and it will be coming in to effect from January 20 2021. They also stated that it will also start automatically removing the verified badge from inactive and incomplete accounts which doesn’t have a verified email address. Last month the social media platform Twitter already had informed about the relaunch of the Twitter app. The verification of the apps programme and its relaunch will be in early 2021. The teacher app had already informed about the re-launch and had asked for public feedbacks to reshape it. And now the Twitter has started their activities to relaunch the app by implementing new verification policies the company had already paused public submissions for verification in 2017 because of the confusion it caused.

Twitter now has shared some important changes that the app has made to rebuilt verification policy and that will be put into action from January 20 2021. Twitter also reveals that public feedback really helped them in shaping the new policies. They also said that the two week public feedback period brought more than 22,000 service response that help them in revamping their privacy policy and in other policies. The Criterion for a profile to be considered as complete has been changed and now a person can understand their profile as complete when it is slightly tweaked. Now and account doesn’t needs profile bio for header image to be submitted for verification and Twitter reference to Wikipedia has been updated for more article quality.
