Twitter is now offering the verification badge for a price tag and it is a new formula by the new boss of the platform – Elon Musk. Twitter differentiate the accounts with the different colour of verification badges as well. The gold colour indicates to a business account while the grey colour is related to the government and the blue colour is meant for individuals or celebrities.
Currently, Twitter is asking $8 per month for the same but now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that Twitter will be charging a massive amount from businesses for their gold colour badge.
According to the latest information, Twitter is planning to ask $1,000 per month from businesses to keep their gold checkmarks and if the company won’t pay the amount then that account will lose the badge.

It is also reported that Twitter is also planning to add a $50 per month to add badges to each account affiliated with the business.
