Huawei unveiled their new flagship Kirin 990 chipset few days back. This is technically the first chip with 5G modem in-built, unlike Qualcomm who’s 5G modem is optional for OEMs in their flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset. Right now Huawei didn’t announced any smartphone which will have this new processor. But today we got a listing of the same processor. So let’s have a look into the same.
An unknown Huawei smartphone is surfaced on Geekbench revealing few specifications. One of them is new Kirin HiSilicon 990 chipset. This new processor gave an impressive score of 3842 in single core and 11644 in multi core. This is an octa core processor which has a base frequency of 1.84Ghz and ARM Cortex A73 architecture. It has 8GB of RAM and runs on latest Android 10.
Lastly, the model number is Huawei NLE AL00 which is not seen anywhere else right now. So there are total three speculated smartphones which is spotted here; Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, and Honor V30. It’s confirm that Kirin 990 will come in all three smartphones, but the question is which is spotted here?
